Privacy policy and data protection

Personal data controller

The controller of personal data is Gab-Trans, with its registered office at ul. Raczkowska 167, 16-400 Suwałki. You can contact the controller by email: biuro@gab-trans.pl or by phone: +48 572 908 001 24/7.

Purpose and legal basis for processing data

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • responding to enquiries sent via the contact form (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR),
  • performing contracts and serving customers (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR),
  • fulfilling legal obligations, including accounting and tax obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR),
  • recruitment, based on the consent given (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Data recipients

Personal data may be transferred to entities cooperating with the controller in the area of IT support and accounting, as well as to entities entitled to receive it under the law. Data is not transferred to third countries or international organisations.

Data retention period

We store data for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, and then for the period required by law (including tax and accounting regulations). Data from contact forms is stored for 12 months from the date of submission.

Rights of data subjects

You have the following rights:

  • the right to access your data,
  • the right to rectify your data,
  • the right to erasure of your data (the right to be forgotten),
  • the right to restrict processing,
  • the right to data portability,
  • the right to object to processing,
  • the right to withdraw consent (if processing is based on consent).

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.

Voluntary provision of data

Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to fulfil the selected purpose (e.g. responding to an enquiry). Failure to provide data will make it impossible to fulfil that purpose.
